Trick-or Treat!

This year was our first year to take Austin trick or treating. It didn't take him long to figure out if he knocked on a door and stood there long enough, they would eventually place a few treats in his bucket. We couldn't get him to say "trick or treat" but nobody seemed to mind too much. What a fun night for us all.

We took Austin to a few pumpkin patches and let him run around and play. They had lots of old tractors for him to climb on and a corn maze for him to roam through.

We tried to go up into the mountains several times to capture the perfect "fall scene" for this years family picture.We learned very quickly that it is extremely difficult to take family pictures if said picture includes a 17 month old. Add to that-the fact that we are doing it with a "self timer," and its a miracle we managed to get the ones we did. Non-the-less we had lots of fun, and managed to get a few worth posting.

We had so much fun at ZION!!! I really wish we would have had more time. We spent most of our Saturday up there going on various hikes. Austin seemed to enjoy it as he loves being outside. We are already planning on more trips to go back!

St Patrick's Day!

While we were in St. George for T's race we thought we would hit up Zions for the afternoon and do some hiking. On our way there, just before the entrance to the park we hit traffic, and could not figure our why. Upon further investigation we learned that the tiny town we were in was about to have their St Patrick's day parade! We were about 7 cars back in traffic from when they cut the road off. We decided since we weren't going anywhere soon we might as well leave our car parked in traffic and hit up the parade! We had the perfect parking spot anyway! It was Austin's first parade, and we had so much fun watching all the people go by in the parade.

This year Trav decided he wanted to run a few races to try and get back into shape. When he was younger he ran a lot, and hasn't taken the time to do so in the last few years but thought he would get back into it. His first race this year was the spectrum 10K down through snow canyon in St. George. We had so much fun! Thanks to the Smith family for letting us use their condo for a few nights!

For Mom's birthday she wanted to celebrate it with family, food and fun. All of her birthday wishes came true! Even her brother Kent was able to make the party! The kids cooked dinner, while Marsha played with her grandkids! It doesn't get much better than that! Happy Birthday Mom!

Trav's 31st BIRTHDAY

This year Trav turned 31!!! It fell on a Saturday, and it had just dumped 36 inches of snow in the mountains so we figured we would hit up the slopes! We had so much fun snowboarding! When we got back, we played with Austin in the snow at Grandma Marsha's house. It is also tradition in James' family to have breakfast in bed, so Trav was treated to an extra nice breakfast in bed with eggs, pancakes, and a special little helper to make sure he cleaned his plate. Thanks to everyone for all the birthday wishes, love and support!

While we were busy cruising in the vast blue ocean, Memaw and Pop were in the trenches with our snotty nosed, sick baby boy. Kidding, well kind of. While we were down in God's country, austin caught a little bug that gave him a giant, man sized cold, and an ear infection. Luckily, he was pretty much over it when we left for our cruise. Thanks so much to Memaw, Pop, and Aunt Teej for taking such good care of him. Although we had a great time, we sure had a hard time away from Austin.

Gary Johnsen was celebrating his retirement by taking his family, and a few close friends on a cruise to the BAHAMAS!!! Travis and I were fortunate enough to be invited. Travis has known the Johnsen's forever, and we were so blessed to be able to go. It was a great way to ring in the new year.

We Have A Crawler!!!

Austin has been flirting with crawling the past week or so. When we were on our cruise, and he was with his Memaw, and pop he learned to get up on all four. Gradually he began to rock, and little by little he figured it out!!! The video is on jan 23, the day he really took off. That was the first night he went more than a few steps. He managed to make it all the way across the room to a shelf, reach up, and knock the opened bottle of baby powder off to make a mess. We knew then we were in for it at that moment.

The beauty of being married, is that twice the family means twice the FUN!!!!! Before we went to the blessed land of Texas (God's country as Travis calls it) we were so blessed to be able to do a Christmas celebration with my family as well. We loved it, and this year was the best Christmas yet. It must have something to do with the spirit of children and new experiences for our family. It was so special to have Austin with us this year.

This year we spent thanksgiving with the Morgan side of the family. It was a fantastic time! Uncle Blake and the boys came up, and we all feasted on turkey with all the fixings. After our food settled, we played games and watched some football. That night we decided to brave the crowds and did a little black friday shopping! Travis even came along to carry the bags!

Austin seems to have acquired the hair of his great, great grandmother on his dad's side. She had red hair, and Austin's hair has a slight red tint to it. After 6 months it began to look a little shaggy, so we decided to fix it up! You cant really tell from the before and after photos, but it looked much better.

On Saturday November 13, 2010 Austin got to play in the snow for the first time!!! The Smith family was kind enough to invite us up to Snowbird to stay in the Cliff lodge at the resort. It was opening day for snowbird, so we just found a part of the mountain where there were no skiers or boarders and played in it for a minute. He wasn't real sure what to think of it at first, but he eventually thought it was pretty fun. We bought him this little snow suit at old navy, and he seemed to be nice and warm the whole time.

This year was Austin's First Halloween! We were so excited for him! He could have cared less really, but he didn't mind us dressing him up and taking a few pictures. On August 1, 2008 Travis and I were married and sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. I remember this day so vividly. It was picture perfect. I can hardly believe that two years has gone by. Trav, I hope you know how much I love and appreciate you. You are my best friend and I am such a lucky girl. I could not ask for a better husband or father to our beautiful little boy.
Who knew that two years later on this same day we would have the opportunity to bless our little boy. On August 1, 2010 we had the privilage to bless Austin Glenn Ault. I am so grateful for Travis and his ability to be so in tune with the spirit. He gave Austin a beautiful blessing, it was such a spiritual day for us all. Ever since we have been married we have felt that we have truly been blessed. Austin is such a blessing to this family, we love him so much!

In August we took Austin to Houston! He got to ride on a plane for the first time, (3 months old) He did really well. It was his first time to Texas. We spent several days with Trav's family just hanging out. His Memaw, Pop, and Aunt Tj couldn't get enough of him!!! We also threw a little meet and great where family and friends were able to come meet our Austin. We appreciate all the love and support and can't wait to get back to God's country...... TEXAS

For my dad's 60th birthday we celebrated at Bear lake. We rented a condo near the water and had so much fun! We played at the beach, went boating (thanks Tyre) and hit up Pickleville Playhouse for a dinner and show. We topped off the celebration with personalized letters letting my daddy know how much we love him.

In our family all we seem to talk about is baby this and baby that. That might be due to the fact that Angie and I are both expecting and are about one week apart. I am due on May 14 and she is due May 22. How we pulled that one off we will never know, but we sure are EXCITED! One thing that I value so much in my life is my family. It helps that my siblings and I are also best of friends. I would like to tell my mom, Angie, Stacey and Jill THANKS! They put on a production to make sure that my family shower was amazing. I also have to brag for a minute about the pictures that you see Jill and I holding. I have been going stir crazy trying to make my nursery just perfect. I asked Jill to paint to personalized pictures for me and they turned out better then I could imagine. I love them. Once I put them in my nursery along with the mobile my and pillows my mom bought me it all came together. I will post pictures soon. I have the best girlfriends out there. Honestly, I love these girls so much and am so thankful for all that they do for me. Although most people hate to play games at showers they felt they had to do at least a few for me(of course I love to play games - it's the teacher in me.) I have worked as a 3rd grade teacher for the past 7 years. I love my job and know that it is going to be hard to leave it. I have gone from Miss Morgan to Miss Fitness to Mrs. Ault and now I am going to be called the best title of them all "Mommy". It truly has bee a sacrifice to leave my job, but I am so grateful that I will have the opportunity to be home with my LITTLE ONE.
I want to thank the faculty and staff. It has been an honor to work with you and I appreciate all of you and the things that I have learned from you. I especially want to thank my TEAM. They are much more than just co-workers to me they are like family. I hope each of you know how much I appreciate you. You are all simply WONDERFUL!

Trav's Dirty 30

For Trav's Dirty 30 I wanted to do something special. I knew that he didn't want a surprise party or to make it a big deal so I had to break into my creativity. I decided that I would get him a skeet shooter and some clay pigeons along with a few other things. Since he is from Texas and always claims he is a cowboy I decided I would base my theme around this. Throughout the day I had clues for him that lead us to the next activity. From breakfast in bed, to shooting for 5 hours, a trip to Cabelas a nice dinner and a few other Dirty 30 activities. . . I think that it turned out great. Happy 30th Birthday Babe! Happy Valentine's Day To Us

With "Baby Ault" on the way we keep living it up on the thought that this will be our last __________ before we are a family of three. Now don't get me wrong we are so excited and can hardly wait to be parents, but we know that things will change. So this year for Valentine's day we decided to travel Utah and pamper ourselves. Although we are on a tight budget each month we have put back a little to play with. We started out simple rented a movie, bought some treats and made a sweet pad in our living room. The next morning we had a romantic couples massage at "Heavenly Hands". It truly was heavenly and so nice to be able to lay on my stomach. Then we went to lunch at saw Avitar in 3-D. We came home and got few things done and they got all cleaned up and went out for Sushi. We kept looking on the internet and found a sweet last min deal up at the Canyons. So the next day we checked in and our room was everything I was hoping for. We had a jetted tub, mountain side view and a fireplace. It was picture perfect. We spent some quality time together and went out to a nice dinner at Bangkok Tai. Then we went back to our place and I had a little gift for Trav. We both agreed to not do anything, but I couldn't help myself. So I decided to buy trav a huge card and come up with 101 reasons I Love You! I thought that this would be hard, but it was one of the easiest things I have ever done and recommend it to anyone to try. (as I was writing it I was a bit emotional, I truly do love my husband more than anything) Much to my surprise Trav also had a little something up his sleeve. He wrote me the most tender love letter and framed a picture of me and him with his hands on my prego belly. When he did all of this I have no idea. This semester in school and been so busy, but he somehow always puts me first. Thanks babe for making this such a special valentines day - - I LOVE YOU!

There Is Something In The Water. . .

In the past I have always been a few years behind my friends or sister-n-law as far as baby making goes. I always told them that I would catch them on round 2 or 3 having kids, but never thought it would be like this. Once I found out that Angie was prego I decided I needed to let everyone know that I was too. Then I find out that Cortney is pregnant and a few weeks later Heath leaked the same news. How exciting! That must mean that there is something in the water because we are all within 1 month of each other. Here is the breakdown:

Cortney is having a boy and due on May 8
I am having a boy and due on May 14
Angie is having a girl and due on May 22
Heather is having a girl and due on June 2

Now who knows when these little ones will actually decided to join us. We just pray that everything will go well and that we may all deliver healthy babies. This has been a fun process to share with some of my best friends and I am looking forward for the friendships that will hopefully continue through our kids. Hang in there girls only a few more months/weeks to go . . . Can you believe it!

February Fugly Night

That's right this month I was in charge of our girls night. We try to do it once a month and rotate who is hosting it. I decided that we would keep it simple, so we had dinner at my house.(Thanks Brooke for helping me out). Then I asked everyone to dig through their photos and see who could come up with some "FUGLY" ones. That means they could either be funny or ugly! Come on you know you all have some of these pics. I was impressed what we were able to dig up. My favorite part of looking at some of my photos was realizing that I really went through a chubby stage and didn't really realize it. Wow, I can't believe that Christmas has already come and gone. After spending Christmas with my family we were able to go back out to Texas for about 5 days. Trav really wanted to go hunting with his dad, and we felt this would be a great opportunity for me to spend some one on one time with Lou. WE WERE RIGHT! We had such a great time. We did a lot of baby shopping, went out to lunch, got pedicures and of course got in tune with our creative side.

Trav said this was one of the best hunts he has had in a long time. Since I have been around the past few years it has been awhile since Trav and his dad got to hunt in a blind together. For those of you who are hunters I have learned that it is not all about the kill. It really is such a bonding experience. However, the kill is nice and Trav was able to shoot a nice 8 point management buck! Once they got back from the trip he decided to make a uro mount out of it. This takes quite a bit of work, but well worth it. Now we just have to decide where to put it . . .

Our Inside Story

This year it was our turn to do Thanksgiving our in Texas and Christmas with my family. Trav and I thought that it would be cool do get our gender ultra sound with his family. We made an appointment at a place called "Our Inside Story". It was such a great experience. They had 3 monitors set up in a spa like setting. The big monitor was in front of us so everyone could see. It amazes me the second they put that goo on your tummy within seconds you can not only see, but hear your little ones heart beat. The session lasted for about 15 min. and at the end they told us the best news. That we would be have a baby . . . BOY! Words can't describe how you feel at that moment. It was an emotional experience for us all. This will be Marshall an Lou's first grandchild, our first baby and Tanya's first nephew! It was so cute because Trav asked over and over again. Now you're sure! Our tech kept replying I am sure and then would show us another picture. Once she said he was a well endowed little guy. Trav smiled as any proud father to be would. That answer satisfied him. It is so fun to have this type of connection. Now all the planning can begin name, nursery etc. We can hardly wait!

4 months

4 months and starting to feel good again! Let's be honest we all have our ups and downs with pregnancy. Since this is our first I didn't know what to expect. The first 8 weeks were wonderful. I guess those first two months I would label as the "shock factor". Trav and I still couldn't believe that we were actually pregnant. Then came the morning sickness. For those of you that have known me for a long time. you already know that I am so sensitive to smell. Well being pregnant makes it 1,000 times worse. The slightest smell or discomfort and I found my self dry heaving over the toilet . . . at least it started out that way. Before you knew it I had actually lost weight being pregnant because I could not keep anything down. Trav was so sweet during this whole process and even cleaned up after me a few times. Every one kept saying the second trimester gets better . . . They were RIGHT! I am feeling much better. Now I just need to find out what this little one is. Stay tuned ?

I am currently 3 months and 3 weeks a long. Next Wednesday we are flying out to Texas for Thanksgiving. We have scheduled to do a Fetal Photo while we are out there to find out the gender. Let us know what you think. BOY or GIRL you have a 50/50 chance of getting it right. We of course just want a happy and healthy little one. Our due date it somewhere around May 14, 2010!

Busy Bees . . .

Since the summer we have been busy bee's. I have began teaching my 7th year of teaching 3rd grade at Foothills Elementary. Trav began his MBA program up at the U, started a new job as a clinical research coordinator at Huntsman, and made a baby all in the same week. Since then life has been a BLISS! That's right WE ARE EXPECTING!

Trav's parent's drove up from Houston. It only took them 2 days and a total of 24+ hours, but it was well worth the drive. Once we got settled into our sweet condo in Park City it was time to get our gear ready. Marshall hand made both Trav and I our own fly fishing rod and spinning rod. It was so sweet and you can tell it took a lot of time and effort. He also tied us a bunch of flies so we would be prepared for what ever was hatching during this time of the year. I must admit that I love the outdoors, but I never realized how challenging fishing can be. Growing up it was real simple I would bait my line cast, cast out and pray that there would be a bite on the other end. Fly fishing on the other hand is a whole new game. It was a lot of fun, but it does require a lot of work. Needless to say I did catch the first fish. It was so much fun spending some quality time with Trav's parents. Marshall and Lou we hope you know how much we love and appreciate you. Next time we will have to make the drive :)

My dad use to work at Tony Grove as a ranger. Ever since we were little we have taken trips up there. This time we got the whole family to go. The only problem was when we got there the sights were taken. Mom sat in a chair for a few hours waiting to wave us down so we would know where to to go. Just up the street dad had found a girls camp sight that was open and we were able to stay in there yerts. It was pretty nice I must admit, but a bit large for just a few of us. We had a lot of fun chillen around the camp fire, making tin foil dinners, fishing and of course the canoe! Hopefully this will become a Morgan Family tradition!

Shortly after Travis and I moved into our ward I was called to be the Young Womens President. It has been such an amazing calling and helped me learn so much. It has also been a lot of fun. This was my first time going to girls camp as a leader and I loved it. I got the best of both worlds. Got to hang out with the girls, stay up late in my tent, but did not have to worry about certification. We had such a good time at Camp Ensign and look forward to next year!

My girlfriend Ris got married to the her best friend Josh Whitney on July 24, 2009 in Lake Tahoe. A few of us were able to make a road trip out of it so that we could support her. We stayed in Kallie's aunts amazing house in Reno the first night. The next day we played with Ris at the beach that she was getting married at - good times! Road Trip 2009 - Winging it!

Trav and I decided that we needed to go on one last big vacation before he starts school in August. We looked at booking a cruise or an all inclusive in Mexico, but they all seemed to be a bit out of our budget. So instead we decided to wing it. We booked a few hotels a couple days before we left. Packed up Trav's car and hit the road. We decided to break up our trip so that the drive didn't seem so long. We would change a thing about the way we did it. It was absolutely perfect! Our first stop was in Mesquite, Nevada. I know most of you are thinking WHAT? We took advantage of their spa package and loved it. We spent almost 5 hours at the spa hanging out in our robes in the relaxation room, chillin in the mineral bath, sweating in the eucalyptus sauna, and enjoying our 1 hour Swedish massages. Who new the Casablanca could be so fun. The best part was that we did it together!

Nice Stay at Hotel Clay

On our way into San Diego we stopped by and stayed at Hotel Clay. Clay has been like a brother to Travis so it was good to spend some time with him. Clay and his buddy Matt took us to Sana Monaco beach to try out surfing. It was so much fun!

Loving life in La Jolla

Since this trip was not totally planned we got some great deals. Trav booked us a room at the Empress Hotel. It was perfect. A few minutes away from the beach, great customer service and super soft sheets! We also ate an amazing dinner at Alfonso's and had fun checking out all of the views.

San Diego Temple

We thought that this would be a good way to spend our Sunday. After church we went to the San Diego temple. Trav took some great shots!

La Jolla Shores

We were given a few recommendations to go certain places, although we never planned on it we kept running into a few of them. Jeff's Burgers were great, the beach was fun, but no one told us how many people would be there. It was so crowded!

Scenic Hike

We thought that it would be nice to take a little scenic hike through La Jolla since parking sucks. It was well worth it!

Coronado Beach

We had a lot of fun on this trip, but Coronado beach topped it off. I am not sure if what the beautiful sunset, playing in the ocean or seeing the school of dolphins swim right by us that did it for me!

Hunnington Beach and heading home

So on our way home we decided to do one last stop to Hunnington beach. Of course we had to get in on a little bit of the street action as well. We stayed long enough to watch a guy hammer a nail into his nose! As we hit the road again we decided that we should stop off in St. George since we had been driving a lot that day. We booked a 4 star hotel on Hotwire last minute and we very pleased with our results! We had such an amazing trip even though winged most of it. I can't wait until our next adventure . . .

Best Birthday Surprise Ever!

After going to Park City, having a Birthday party at Boondocks, getting presents in the mail from Trav's family(Thanks Marshall, Lou and Tanya I loved them all) I thought that my birthday was more that complete. However, Trav had one more surprise up his sleeve. He took me out to Happy Summo for dinner. We love our SUSHI! Then he drove me to a studio and had arranged for private partner dance lessons followed by a dance party. To top it off he got me way to many gifts - I am pretty sure he went out of our budget, but I had such a good time. Thanks babe for being so thoughtful! You continually amaze me by all that you do. I love you!

Boondocks Birthday Party

For all those that know Stacey and I our birthday's are on the same day, July 7, but two years apart. Since we have to share our special day we stretch it out as much as possible. We had a family party at Boondocks . . . GOOD TIMES!

Park City Surprise!

Every year for our birthday Stacey and I use to travel somewhere and Jill always wanted to come. The past few years we have not been able to do this. Trav came up with the great idea to do a little SURPRISE girls get away up in Park City. We had such a good time: hanging out at the pool, dinner, ice cream, photo shoot, junk food, late night talks and breakfast at a cafe. Not to mention a day full of shopping! It was just what we ALL needed!

For our Birthdays Mom and Dad have always done breakfast in bed. Since we were in Park City they decided to come up and surprise us. It was so cute my dad went around the entire cafe and asked everyone to sing "Happy Birthday" to us. The night before we had so much fun and little to much junk food . . .

Morgan Moab Family Vacation 2009

A couple weeks ago we headed down to Moab. We had a great time hanging out at the Watermelon House! Then we did a little mountain biking, hiking and some fine dining. Thanks fam for making it happen!
